What does it take?

There are a lot of people out there that have a favorite team. Some choose who they root for, while others, they were born into it. The Cleveland Browns are the team that most fans were born into loving and cheering on. Don't get me wrong now, I'm a fan, and damn proud of it, but they don't call 'em the cardiac kids for nothing.

The 2007 season has brought no new surprises to the dawg pound bowl. We still seem to be inches away from the win, or in this seasons case, the playoffs, and we can't figure out what it is we have to do to catch a break.

If it wasn't for bad luck the Browns would seem to have no luck at all! Wait, scratch that, they have luck (refer back to the miraculous field goal that almost never happened), but whether we are barely winning or barely losing, we are just getting by.

Then things seemed to finally be swinging Cleveland's way. The playoffs were within arms reach, and then, right on cue, it happened. Now with last weeks loss to our southern rivals, again all we can do now is sit back and hope for another miracle.

This season brought us big hope. As a Browns fan I will do as I and every other brown and orange jersey sporting fan does, I will return next season, I will be glued to my television, to the stadium seat, because no matter what, Cleveland keeps you coming back, for better or worse. Now with a half way decent season almost under our collars and a fresh young quarter back who one day may see the grass on the field there is hope, the one thing Browns fans always have.
