We added the the speedster Donte Stallworth and how about that Kellen Winslow.. The offensive line was tight and we shored up the defense with some veteran free agents. We were ready for prime time! Then the wheels fell off and we're 4-9 looking at 4-12. Actually in fairness I must say that only half the wheels fell off. You see, The Browns would be at least 8-5 right now if NFL games ended after the first thirty minutes of play. Unfortunatley, NFL games last AN HOUR! How many first half leads did we squander?

Peterson's abilities will also open up the field for the likes of Kellen Winslow and Braylon Edwards.
Peterson will not come without concerns, however. In 2004, Adrian Peterson rushed for 1,925 yards which set an NCAA Division I freshmen record. In 2005 and 2006, however, Peterson was hampered by a rash of injuries that slowed his production on the field, and raised questions about his durability. In his sophomore year, Peterson sat on the sidelines for all or portions of four games due to an ankle injury. In 2006, he missed six games due to a broken collarbone he suffered on a celebratory dive into the end zone.
