Cleveland Browns: A much-needed win vs. the Jags

Nice. A victory.

Say what you want, but I think that the Jaguars are a quality opponent. Like many good teams in the NFL this year, the Jaguars have a mediocre record. Many good teams are 3-4, 3-5, or 4-3. Obviously, many teams are struggling, not just the Browns. Browns' fans just need to take things one game at a time. If you're not happy with that, focus on your fantasy team. Then, you could mold your own dynasty. Consequently, you will only have yourself to blame when things go bad.

Inconsistencies: Once again, inconsistencies on both sides of the ball make the game interesting. It wasn't the penalties this time, but the play calling, the difficulties of scoring TDs in the red zone, and the lack of QB pressure. It all hurts, and at times, it's painful to watch. Nevertheless, I watched every minute. Afterwards, it's entertaining to tune in to Bruce Drennan on STO, especially after losses.

K2: Well, he's back and hopefully, all is well. He did have a Staph infection, yes Staph, not staff, like I typed recently. And, we do need him. He could be one of the best athletes on the team, and he's a threat to all defenses we play against. And yes, Heiden blocks better and did play well, therefore, Chud needs to utilize their talents better.

Offense: It's nice to have Stallworth producing, but I have to give kudos to the blocking again. And, it's not only the offensive line who is doing the job. I saw the RBs, TEs, and WRs blocking, too. It's truly a team effort.

Defense: Kudos to D'Qwell, but my game ball goes to Shaun Rogers. So far, he is motivated to play. If you ask him, he's always motivated to play, even when he was in Detroit. I wouldn't know. I'd rather watch paint dry than watch a Detroit Lions' game. Anyway, Rogers takes on double teams, has 4 sacks, disrupts the backfield, blocks field goals and recovers the ball. You should be impressed. Furthermore, the defense held Jacksonville's two RBs to around 50 yards. Yes, I know, the D allowed Garrard to run for about 50, as well. But, for the most part, except for the Cowboys and Ravens, our defense has played pretty well this year. And yes, you could debate that comment all day long...but really, don't you have better things to do?

At 3-4, the Browns go back home to face the Ravens. Obviously, we could even up our record, and why not?
